Pivot 123: I am letting silence speak to me

I’m feeling under the weather. I did some really really good things yesterday – set up SoD on IG (G did a stunning logo for me) and I filmed Dad doing a great talk for youtube and his website… But I didn’t get the ‘aaaaaaahhhhhh’ feelings of satisfaction. More like frustration, edginess, boredom… I may just be pooped from not taking a break at the weekend. And the cloudy weather. And the ‘lots of people / no people’ lockdown situation. And maybe I shouldn’t have started taking the hemp oil because… is it making me twitching for it?

I was helping, being creative and holding everyone in UPR, right? Why was I not feeling feelings of satisfaction? {#ffff)

Entonces, pues, ‘sup?

As Abraham says, you gotta get out ahead of it…

Tell me more about this, please.

Learning to break ‘thought’ patterns is the key. You are good at this when you actually do it. So be brave, let go of thinking, regularly.

Like doing my word puzzle on the phone? Learning crochet?

S l o w d o w n t o n o t h i n g n e s s. Let silence speak to you.

‘Oh Fool! I shall go mad!’

Non sense. Let silence speak……………………..

k

I am letting silence speak to me

Pivot 122: I am feeling satisfied – this is enough

I had such a productive, and fulfilling weekend playing with ‘fun and done’. We hosted a ‘1st birthday’ party and we filled the garden and house with decorations, and created a photo album of the baby’s first few months of life. It was so good to write a list of actions, and fly through them – even when challenges arose. And it came down to setting an intention to create a ‘magical birthday party’.

Intentions give direction to your momentum.

I reflected on how the ‘scaffolding’ of my routine replaces the need for ‘willpower’. The willpower works with time. My autistic brain is very right hemisphere; time is linear and left hemisphere. The scaffolding reduces the need for willpower with regards to time – and that grants me more space for basking in right brain creativity.

So intentions are like architectural drawings that accompany the scaffolding around your nascent construction.

And then I get inside the construction site and play with creating the building…

And so what building would you like to create this week?

I was reminded in a podcast on my walk on Friday of the Abraham ‘pivot’ technique. Ironic I hadn’t noted it before with the name of this project! The main concept – and it’s so brilliant – is this:

“If you know what you don’t want, then you know what you do want.”

So, if something is troubling you, pivot in the opposite direction, towards the ‘wanted’.

Like magic.

It is a bit! So for this week…

What DO you want?

Satisfaction…

So can you use dissatisfaction as a lever towards your satisfaction

Not really. I can’t confidently look at dissatisfaction without magnifying it.

So can you look at all the aspects of your life, week, day and segments that bring you satisfaction? Can you set an intention for satisfaction? What would that architectural drawing look like?

Satisfied me… Hm… What gives me satisfaction? I think ‘knowing I’ve helped people’ gives me a feeling of satisfaction. And knowing I’ve pushed the boat out in terms of my creativity and self-expression, makes me feel deep satisfaction.

Helping + Creativity = Feelings of Satisfaction

Yes. So is it a case of more helping and more creativity?

What do you feel?

I feel I need to add something. It’s about ‘non-judgment’; it’s about ‘unconditional positive regard’. I have a hunch that that is the oil that eases the satisfaction machine.

Helping +
Creativity +
Unconditional Positive Regard
= Feelings of Satisfaction

Yes. This is my intention for this working week.

Helping – self and others +
Creativity of expression – for self and others +
Unconditional Positive Regard – for self and others
= Feelings of Satisfaction

So in each segment you are welcoming Helping + Creativity + UPR so that you might bask in the feelings of satisfaction.

That is my segment intending, yes. May I find my phrase?

This is a beautiful new week, and it is my intention to bask in feelings of satisfaction. I love the feelings of satisfaction that run all the way through by being. I know they are good for my health, wellbeing and internal organs. I know we are created in order to feel the expansiveness of creativity, which is to say, to experience feelings of satisfaction. Sometimes, I just need to press pause and focus to realise that satisfaction is hovering in the air around me ready to be inhaled right here right now. I am ready to receive immense satisfaction this week. I am excited that I have three tools to take on to my construction site this week:

  1. Helping
  2. Creativity
  3. UPR

With these 3 tools, and with my intention to feel feelings of satisfaction, and with the scaffolding of my routine, I know – and it is powerful to know the power of my knowing – I know that satisfaction is available to me and to us all at any moment in time.

It is my firm intention to feel and to absorb and to receive feelings of deep satisfaction this week.

Beautiful! A rampage. Thank you! How satisfying!

I am feeling satisfied!

Oh yes, I just spotted (again): satis. Satis = enough. Faction = making / doing.

I am doing enough… This is enough. Enough is made… This is enough.

Ooh… that is so big. It’s the antidote to the messages of my youth: work harder, do more, keep pushing.

And isn’t it good to know that this is enough?

It sure is.

Take that with you.

I am feeling satisfied – this is enough.

Enough?

Enough. Satis.

I am feeling satisfied – this is enough

Pivot 121: I am playing with ‘fun and done is better than perfect’

Reading: ACIM – felt drawn to start reading Teachers’ Manual. Let’s see how that goes..

Med – Inner Balance 15 min: HighCo 29% + AvCo 1.8 (!! It had been a while since I’d used the device – so startling to be so constantly out of coherence!!)

****

So here we are. Breathe deeply and anticipate satisfaction. I did that as I got out of bed this morning on this sunny day, and had a flashback to waking up happy in childhood during summer weekends or school holiday, simply anticipating a whole day of playing! We (me, siblings, neighbours) used to bike ride, hopscotch, explore the woods, play in the sandpit, play in the tree house, play make-believe games, dress up… Endlessly romping in a) our bodies and b) our imaginations. So satisfying!

Yesterday was a day of goosing up the satisfaction, and yes, a deep breathe before a new task does set you up to feel like there might well be – ooh, lovely – satisfaction ahead. And part of my real satisfaction came from introducing an element of playfulness yesterday.

  1. I was asked to do a video for my business for a online business festival I’m involved signed up to. Videoing myself reminded me of when I used to pretend to be Delia Smith talking to camera as I did baking in the kitchen at home as a child. I dropped seriousness / perfectionism and allowed myself to let it be a fun, easeful experience. (PS. This is the encouraging response I got from the event organiser, reassuring me that ‘fun and done’ is better than perfect: The one-minute perfect pitch – you should be on the dragon’s den! Or the Natwest Accelerator programme! Bravo!)
  2. I had a long list of complex tasks on a post-it note, all of which I needed to try and tackle in the afternoon. {Typically = *Executive function alert bells ahoy – which first?!, putting off the worst etc*} So, I grabbed some scissors and cut up the post it note and put the pieces in a mug. G. names this new game: Lucky Dip. Perfect. Pulling a random task out of a mug, time-stamping it and jumping into it was FUN. I got a lot done – but not all, and that was ok too.

We love your phrase ‘fun and done is better than perfect‘. You could run with that all day, all week, all year and get such satisfaction out of every day.

I could, couldn’t I? It’s bringing the Facebook motto (done is better than perfect) together with my Mum’s legendary ‘It’s got to be fun’ motto. Yes, satisfying stuff.

My new routine is also about ‘fun and done’ isn’t it?

It sure is. You are creating an environment for yourself – thanks to the opportunity afforded you by lockdown – that allows you to have enough certainty, or scaffolding, in place, that for the remaining ‘moving parts’ of your day you still have mental energy for maximum creativity.

Like Steve Jobs minimising his need for decision-making each day…

Yes. The scaffolding is all geared towards your wellbeing too, your MEDS.

I could weep with joy and relief and appreciation for this journey…

So you know you are caring for your mind, body and soul with the scaffolding of your days – and it’s so well-designed that, should there be high winds or earthquakes, your structure can easefully move with the pressures. The rest of the day is for playful activity: the fun and done. Excellent work.

Thank you! One quick question. Why was my heart coherence so out of sync today?

You want to know why?

Yes.

Because you were in an egoic state about being or not being a ‘teacher of God’ after reading the ACIM Teachers’ Manual. Ease up on that stuff. You are ALL teachers of God because you are all extensions of Source Energy. Relax a little. The Manual simply says, ‘Dudes, try and show up in the world with your best shoes on.’ That’s all. It’s nothing special. ACIM is all about how nothing and no one is ‘special’. So chill.

Haha. Truth bombing me all over the place. Thank you.

So today, play with fun and done is better than perfect’ and see how much satisfaction and good-feeling is available to you, sweet soul.

Thank you. x

I am playing with ‘fun and done is better than perfect’

Pivot 120: I am breathing deeply and anticipating satisfaction

I have to say, I am feeling much more relaxed these days… I’m going at a gentler pace; I’m cleaving to my routine diligently but with flexibility; I’m more on top of my business again. I’m also maybe 5 days into taking magnesium and Hemp oil, so maybe that’s helping with reducing the adrenal drive.

Yes, I am sunbathing in some good satisfaction.

I am basking in wellbeing.

I am focussing – gently – on feeling good. Thank you, Abraham, for that.

I sense the possibility for more satisfaction…?

There is always more satisfaction to be had. That is the nature of creation. It thrives on creating.

Am I creating enough?

Of course! Could you be creating and expanding with less resistance? Of course! The invitation to drop resistance is always with you.

That’s human life, right? To learn to trust and believe and love and relish and allow and enjoy and accept and receive and… drop resistance as you go.

‘Precisely’, as Abraham would say.

And when it comes to ‘dropping resistance’ for me, what guidance might you give me, dear voice of my Being?

Breathe, dear soul. Breathe… Set your intention for ‘Satisfaction’ and b r e a t h e… That is the kindest thing you can do for yourself right now. ‘Satisfaction’ out-performs ‘happiness’ in the human realm. Satisfaction goes right to the core of you, and that is why b r e a t h i n g into the core of you creates ‘space’ for the satisfaction to swim about. You think we are speaking metaphorically? We really are not. You practice qigong, you know about this. The flow is internal and external – as above so below. Stuckness is internal and external – as above, so below. You work to release qi stuckness and increase flow in the internal and external simultaneously. Breathing deeply is the ultimate facilitator of increased energy in the internal and external realm.

I see. I hear you. Can I ask… Is this about multidimensionality too?

Absolutely. You want to believe you are a solid entity dancing only along the physical plane, but know that you are an off-shoot of a Self that sits across various dimensions. That is why your care of your body on this plane is of value. The self likes to be equally distributed across planes, and your ‘lightness’ and ‘brightness’ and ‘energetic freedom’ on this physical plane maximises the same in the other dimensions.

What does that even mean?!

It means as below, so above. Loosen up here, to loosen up there. You can’t see the benefit that you bring to your whole self when you drop resistance and foster flow, but it is real and significant.

If you could give me one top piece of advice on this – alongside breathing deeply to create space in the core of me – what would it be?

Anticipate satisfaction.

That gave me a little leap in the pit of my stomach.

It’s good, isn’t it? Remember, breathe first, or it becomes a mental exercise to set an intention for satisfaction. In other words:

  1. Set the intention for satisfaction – you can consider that done already as it is all your inner being is interested in anyway
  2. Breathe deeply, in to the core of you
  3. Anticipate satisfaction from there

I love it. Thank you. I will work with this today. I sense that using the 3 steps you mention is a kind of 1+1+1=5 equation.

Think 1+1+1=infinity, and you’ll be closer to the truth.

Lovely. Thank you.

I am breathing deeply and anticipating satisfaction

PS. Just went ahead and booked on to a 2 hour Deep Dive Group Breathe in a couple of weeks, with my breathwork instructor friend and mentor, Deborah.

Post 119: I am in sunbathing mode

Max Basking had a really great day. It’s about appreciating what you’ve created/received as you go, isn’t it? It’s about saying, ‘Look at all this beauty – fascination – curiosity – delicious food – great company – time to relax – soft companionship – comfy cushions – sunshine in the sky…’

And I sense, as I slip into that state, this must be the state of alignment. And in the state of alignment, I don’t need to effort or push for my future, the SoA is what has us shimmying into the vortex. Right?

***Med15min***

Think of the experience of sun-bathing. At first it feels unnatural to just stay lying there doing nothing – after all there are so many things to do and to be done. But you have a vested interest [as a pallid white girl]: a glowing, healthy sun tan. So you stay there in horizontal mode, and then, lo and behold, you start to relax. Indeed, you positively soak up the warmth of the sun. You become one with nature and the gentle breezes. Your mind slows down and you are fully in the receptive mode. Sunbathing is a great metaphor for Max Basking and the State of Alignment.

Ok so now that’s my band name. 🙂

When sunbathing, you know your role is really to do nothing. The work is being done for you.

Same with life?

To a certain extent. You’ll find that when you’re in alignment you get inspiration to do x or y, for the FUN of it.

My Mum was a guru… [She always said, “It’s got to be fun!”]

She really was.

When the inspiration comes, act on it, but not with effort or urgency. Act on inspiration just as if you were sunbathing on the beach and you suddenly felt the inclination to jump up for a swim, or play volleyball. For the fun of it.

Ok. Sunbathing mode.

Lovely.

I am in sunbathing mode

Post 118: I am Max Basking

This past weekend (it’s Monday today) really marked the drawing to a close of the acute phase of lockdown. G and I went to town to drop A at work, and went  on to the farmer’s market and had lunch out at a restaurant for the first time since mid-March. It felt like a relief to be back in the world… Clearly, wise prudence is still required of us all.

A new week begins. It’s a quiet week ahead, after a storm of work over the last few weeks. I would like to hear from you how best to enjoy this week.

Your ability to find the joy in what you do is increasing, isn’t it?

It really is! I feel like I’m so much more grounded. I’m loving the new ‘business care’ protocols I’m putting in place. I’m feeling more on top of what I’m doing. If you were in my physical shoes, what would you be riffing with? What would you be doing?

Basking! Basking, basking, basking. We would be basking the heck out of life. And our Segment Intending would be geared towards Maximum Basking.

You sound just like Abraham today! 🙂 Tell me about Maximum Basking. (That’s going to be my spy name: Max Basking).

Basking is revelling in what has been created. Maximum Basking is really using the ‘power of now’ and the available sensory data to bring mindfulness to What Is. And Segment Intending here would focus on creating ‘arcs’ of experience: initiate – undertake – bask in what has been created.

So you don’t leap from one thing to the next – you pause to bask.

Yes. So you could stop right here, right now and bask in this conversation…

….Here I am. Talking to my Wise Self… What a privilege and a fun thing to do. How much I have learnt from doing this over the last decade and more. There has been no greater input than that arising from my own Wise Self….

Lovely. Maximum Basking. Apply this to your beautiful day and let us know how it went…

Ok. Will do. Today, I am Max Basking.

I am Max Basking

Pivot 117: Today I am saying “It would be wise prudence…”

Radically letting go… of anxiety, and over-cooking. All good. According to FitBit, the night after our last dialogue, I got my best sleep in years . I also closed my work (for now) with the marvellous psychotherapist, who has accompanied me through lockdown (we started just before lockdown and worked fortnightly over videoconferencing). She had helped me reach in to my subconscious and befriend many ‘parts’ of myself. The last part to arise was a can-can dancer who just loved her work, but needed a BREAK! Along came this peaceful me who said “Yes, let’s take a break. Take your time. All in good time.”

PIC: peaceful mediator and can-can dancer. side by side.

All is well.

Relax and enjoy.

And I’ve been off Twitter and Facebook and most news for days and days now. My life feels simpler. More repetitive. I now play word games on my phone for a spot of dopamine and mental resetting. The glimpses I get of the news are HORRID. But outside my window, when I’m working, I see rabbits, squirrels and blue tits cavorting on the lawn. That is where my attention can rest, in this reality, and I am at peace – and that (along with my work, and my love of my loved ones) is the best I can offer the world at this moment.

You’ve been working very hard.

Yes. And Abraham says to work less hard. 🙂

Gosh darn tootin right. 🙂

Work wisely instead. Say, ‘It would be wise…’ or ‘It would be prudent…’. That is how you might care for your lovely business, as you would care for a precious child, thinking of its future and its current wellbeing simultaneously.

Why does that make me feel a little noivuss?

Because you’re hearing it with busy brainwaves. Sink, or rise, into those creative alpha brainwaves… That’s it, gazing at trees does it for you, doesn’t it? Tickles your brain… Soothes your attention.

After my diagnosis, I came to see my tree-gazing as visual stimming.

Beautiful.

Now, in this softer state do you see how wise you already are? Do you see how prudent you have been? We are simply saying: turn up the dial on ‘wise prudence’; and turn down the dial on ‘working hard’. That is healthier and more sustainable for you. It will be more fun and it will allow you to do even more good.

Your booking systems, your website [ty, dear G], your social media, your networks, your agencies, your financial tools… My oh my. What a wonder to behold. You are wise and you are prudent.

I am, amn’t I? 🙂  I just want to be helpful. But I also want to be safe and secure, in my old age too.

I used to set myself short, medium and long term business goals and never meet them! I stopped doing that in order to keep my pecker up… I sense it is about just keeping a watchful eye on the short, the medium and the long term.

As if you had three children of different ages. They all need tending in slightly different ways; and they all need you to show your complete confidence and trust that they are doing beautifully. So yes, you keep an eye on each, even the more distant (‘eldest child’) long term. The short term is your baby, and needs lots of attention and care. But don’t forget that the medium term (middle child) is just as precious and in need of your loving eye as the others too.

*****Next day*****

So I took some time yesterday to completely reconfigure my booking and planning system. I abandoned Asana which I’d started using three months ago (and never mastered) and I returned to my old mega spreadsheet style, rebooting it and pimping it for 20/21. I feel much more able to view the whole financial year now. Good!

So that helps you look after the youngest child (the days and weeks ahead) and the middle child (the whole year at a glance). How will you look after the oldest child (the next 2-20 years)?

Thank you for asking this. Good question. So, thanks to Lockdown, I’ve been able to start thinking ahead to Older Me and good health. My new daily schedule has aspects I can replicate for years to come: qigong, walking, good sleep, working from home but not over-working… Also, thanks to Noom, I am completely relearning how to eat according to the actual calorific needs of a woman who is no longer a 20 year old metabolic machine.  So, now a stone lighter than at the start of Lockdown (yes, that’s about a pound per week, so no rush job!), I am creating healthier habits and a fitter body that might enjoy moving in to older age. Good. I am so pleased and appreciative. Before Lockdown, my rhythms were simply damaging my health. Bless this period of rest, renewal and reflection on what actual is sustainable for a body. (I’ve finally stopped mimicking my beloved Dad flinging himself in and out of the house in his power suit in a haze of hot stress!)

So next is: how best to enjoy life, people and work. 🙂

Wonderful! What would be wise? What would be prudent?

I guess if I’ve looked at Older Me’s physical health, it would be wise prudence to look at Older Me’s financial wellbeing next.

Sounds good.

At the moment, I have no pension. And the savings I’ve got are pretty much owed to tax, to buying a new car and to that one last debtor. So. We have a fresh clean slate to work with.

I need to earn more, don’t I? We live pretty modestly, so it’s not really a case of spending less. I need to earn a whole lot more.

And how will you do that?

I’m guessing it’s not by ‘working harder’? Is it… raising my ‘profile’?

Would that be wise prudence?

I guess so. What is raising my profile? Attaining trust and credibility, I guess…

For now, just play with this phrase, “It would be wise prudence…” and see what happens.

I love these games. Thank you.

Today I am saying “It would be wise prudence…”

Pivot 116: I am radically letting go

Yesterday was an almost perfect day. I followed my blessed Routine almost to the minute, and everything felt balanced and true – even in complex circumstances. I kept ‘All Is Well’ on a post-it on my laptop. And it was a good and grounding reminder.

This morning, I was woken by an anxiety attack at about 4.45am. Eventually I gave in and came down at 5.30am. Settling in with a coffee, I noticed magpies making a chaotic racket in the garden. It was impossible to concentrate. I looked out of the window with a view to going outside and clapping them away before they woke everyone else. There were the magpies, jumping about in the cherry tree, under which a beautiful fox was happily eating the cherries on the lawn! The magpies that I’d thought were fighting were actually warning other creatures of the danger on the ground.

That’s how anxiety works. Your dear anxiety system (sympathetic nervous system) is sitting up in the ‘tree’ trying to warn you of ‘a fox on the lawn’.

I wish it wouldn’t during the night..! I started thinking about taking a quarter dose of anxiety medicine, like Temple Grandin. But this morning, I stumbled across an article by an amazing man called Fred Phillips who is tracking his experience with Parkinsons on a brilliant blog and he mentioned CBD oil as part of his recovery protocol (it was about the only thing I’m not doing to manage my own wellbeing):

There are many things we can do to return our body to homeostasis and raise our vibrational frequency. More detailed explanations of these activities will be provided in the series of posts that follow over the upcoming weeks and in the meantime, please feel free to refer to my Recovery Protocol. We can:

    • eat healthy foods
    • exercise
    • meditate
    • practice Qigong, yoga and Tai chi
    • laugh
    • spend time in nature … hug a tree
    • express love unconditionally
    • participate in joyful activities
    • do breathing exercises
    • volunteer
    • take up a hobby
    • learn something new [like a new language or a musical instrument]
    • pray
    • develop a spiritual practice
    • do bodywork [chiropractic]
    • take CBD oil
    • take vitamins and supplements
    • change our beliefs
    • create goals [dream big]
    • find meaning in the PD experience
    • let go of the past [forgive]
    • practice acceptance
    • practice loving compassion
    • develop positive body language and posture
    • change our attitude towards our condition [rather than view it as a disease to fight, see it as a teacher]
    • find inspiration
    • live with enthusiasm
    • live in gratitude

So, I’m going to order some CBD/hemp oil and some more magnesium from Amazon. I know I do not have his condition, but I do need to keep an eye on my dopamine and general homeostasis. We all do. This man speaks some great truths about brain healing.

Is this all ok?

Your discernment is your greatest tool in your toolbox.

I’m going to take that as a yes. Today? You spoke yesterday about conflict being ‘forgiveness unfolding’. Could you speak to that as I go into a mediation meeting today?

Forgiveness is the second greatest tool in your toolbox!

Aha. Makes sense.

Today is a day of Letting Go. You read [on Noom] about Radical Acceptance. Radical Acceptance is Letting Go of that upon which you felt your safety depended – and finding that you were on safe territory all along. It is like taking off your parachute to discover you were not freefalling but standing on the ground all along. Forgiveness is radical letting go. Can you do that too?

Yes sirreebob I can. Even the phrase makes me feel good.

I am radically letting go.

Pivot 115: I am saying and embodying, ‘All is well’.

I’m getting the feeling that learning about LightCasting is a journey.

It is a skill learnt by practice. You may not know you are being effective, when you are. Carry on regardless. This is faith.

Ok. And I’m not interfering in anyone’s own path or intention?

By seeing someone as whole, perfect and worthy of your love? No. If you are trying to ‘influence’ them that is different. We are not spell casting! We are holding the All in the light of peace, unity and love.

It’s reminding me of ho’oponopono. In fact, I’ve been using that a little bit this morning regarding some people I know having a hard time at the moment.

There is enormous wisdom here.

See only that which is wanted

Where there is pain, focus your eyes on a world of healing.

Where there is blame, focus your eyes on a world of forgiveness.

Where there is corruption, focus your eyes on a world of justice.

This is good Work for you – it will lead you deeper into the professional work you do. Never see a conflict as a problem. Always see it for what it is: forgiveness unfolding, whether in this life or the next. As you hold faith in that, and use a technique like ho’oponopono to create that zero state from which all is repented, forgiven, appreciated and loved… you will really be contributing helpfully. And your anxiety will lift without medication. Live in a world where healing, forgiveness and justice emerging are your bread and butter.

This is true service.

So, in my mind, I can see my clients as healed and connected…

Always.

Ty. And so today?

All is well. Say: “All is well.” As it is.

Amen.

And remember to embody the phrase, whatever that looks like for you today.

Ok. Ty.

I am saying and embodying, ‘All is well’.

Pivot 114: I am LightCasting

Go in, and commune with your Unseen Crew.

***InnerBalance15min-HighCo72%-AvCo3.2***

Thank you. What can we learn about today, on this windy June day?

You’ve been thinking about energy.

And… telekinesis. I saw some new videos of people using qi to move things.

Qi + Intention.

Aha. Good point. I welcome your commentary.

Relax then, and sit back. We have plenty to say on this topic and your willingness to hear and receive is a great boon. One day you will look back on this process and admire your ability to listen, with a balanced and receptive mind. For one so young.

Thank you for that. And for all of this.

It is an imperfect science, this energy work, as the mind – a vagrant being if ever there was one! – is the conduit and agent. However, and this will please you to hear, if you can master your mind you, can master the energy work, and/or, if you can master the energy work, you can master your mind. In other words, if kept playful, energy work is a good discipline

I have been loving doing qigong every morning. I feel like I’m building up some new understanding. I would love to deepen and develop my practice.

Ah, an intention. Qi + Intention => Move Worlds.

Ha! Yes. Yes. This. What is your advice?

To slow down. Slow… right… down… in your practice. You tend to use qigong as a form of ‘exercise’ for your body, your muscles, your figure. That’s fine, but it’s not actually qi gong – which means ‘energy gathering’. Exercise is energy expenditure. Qigong is energy cultivation. Spend two hours doing laogong activation exercises, and you will see what we mean. (And you’ll be spinning pens in no time! Just joking…)

This is a helpful observation. Thank you. I see that I’m playing on the very cusp of qigong’s actual potential. And I’ve been practising it, on and off, for 12 years now…

Qigong is a mind and matter activity. It takes time for that to become clear. Community helps make this clear too.

I’d like to spend more time in qigong community…

Ask yourself what this energy cultivation is for. Is it for your physical health? Is it for your work in the world? Is it for sharing with others for their wellbeing? What is it for?

I feel, it’s partly for physical healing and wellbeing, and partly for raising frequency so we can be lighter in this world… It’s for psychic protection and spiritual connection. It’s to connect to other realms too?

All this is true and yet, if you can believe it, you are also invited to apply your finely honed qi to places in your conscious field where it is needed.

Like ‘holding’ the planet in my hands..?

Like ‘powering up’ places, people… LightCasting.

Oh lordy… Is this LightCasting an actual thing? [The word first came to me about 5 years ago at a time of praying for much healing.]

Of course it is! You asked to be a Channel of God’s Peace. Peace flows, as light – and light can be cast where shadows exist.

So, busy not yourself with spinning pens as much as with light-casting where light is needed. You have separated yourself from the Judgment Zone that is your Twitter Feed – but you know what you saw. ‘Busy yourself’ with casting light on the darkness you sensed. Til now, you have added to the darkness with your judgment – you were too close and too hurt by what you saw. Now, you have stepped back, you can be more useful. Yes, you know there is darkness. Enough said; enough seen. Protect yourself, and then cast light wherever you have judged. That is the least you can do to pay back the debt you owe for your judgment. Cast light where darkness exists. That, sweet friend, is valuable energy work.

But who am I to say ‘that’s darkness; here’s my light’?

You are given the powers of discernment for a reason, you physical beings. Casting light is not an act of judgment – it is an act of mercy. Are you free of darkness, precious child? No? Well, know that as you are merciful towards others and administer your care (in Light) to them, then equal goodness will come round to you. Know this, sweet being of Light. All beings are One. To see an Other in Light, is to expand the Light of All. Illuminate all areas, this is the work of your generation. Enlighten all places. This is your mission, should you choose… For you all. Those singers you see [I was watching Glastonbury videos last night] – they are enlightening, or they are darkening. It’s hard to tell which sometimes. Shine your light on them, and see them as whole, blessed beings. Fret not about whether they are light hats or dark hats: know that all are blessed beings doing their best. Shine your light on the all that is, and rejoice in the oneness of all things. We are all one. We must shine light upon every element of our Self. We must love every element of our Self. Does this help you understand LightCasting? LightCasting is: to see all things in their best light.

Your clients in conflict: cast light upon a scene in which they have forgiven each other and themselves. Make this the new alternate reality, with that powerful imaginative mind of yours.

I hear you. Ty. So our phrase is…?

I am LightCasting.

Yikesies. Ok.

You wanted to know about energy work. This is what it is. Generate good energy, and hold All in it.

Qi + Intention => Move Worlds.

Ty. I will work with this.

I am LightCasting.
